Delhi to Ajmer by Car distance and travel tips

Total distance between Delhi and Ajmer is 400 Kilometers and it will take about 7-8 hours to travel by car. The road from Delhi to Jaipur is a national highway all four laned in excellent condition. The route to Jaipur from Delhi is via Gurgaon, Neemrana, Bahrur, Kotliputli, Shahpura, Dand and Amber. About 30-40 kms before jaipur on this highway there is a right turn onto the expressway to Ajmer which is a beautiful scenic and modern highway which ends a few km before Ajmer. Jaipur city can be avoided by this route saving time. There are many small highway resorts on the road to Jaipur. Ajmer expressway is scenic but there are no resorts or rest points on this expressway.

New Delhi Ajmer By Rail

Ajmer railway junction falls on the main Delhi-Jaipur-Ahmedabad-Mumbai line. Almost all the trains on this line pass through and halt at Ajmer. There are super fast, express as well as mail trains connecting Ajmer to Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Jodhpur. A few of the important trains are the Shatabdi Express, the Ibadat Express and the Garib Nawaz Express. The Jaipur railway Junction is at a distance of 132 km from Ajmer.
